As the sky set up in the late afternoon, I became hopeful for a winter sunset as we hadn't seen but a few glimpses of the sun since winter set in. I ventured out and as the sun hit the water, I turned back noticed the sun rays illuminating the tips of the stalagmite-type ice formations on the Lake Huron shoreline. This photo is the result.
