The northern lights danced over Lake Huron & Georgian Bay most of the night Victoria Day 2017 holiday weekend. We had one chance with clear skies and auroras began to put on a show just after 10PM as the sky darkened. As the summer solstice was onsetting, dark skies are short lived which lowers chances to catch the aurora. After a night of small displays and once good 40 minute show, the real show occurred about 4am seen from Southampton, Ontario and was amazing to watch it unfold. This was one of the last captures I took as the sun was rising and began to wash out the light show.
