I had remained patient for a long time to for this capture as I skipped by this picturesque, classic shot often when hunting northern lights. I had taken this shot under several conditions but I really wanted specific conditions with aurora strength, time, weather and wind to give me perfect shot. As surprise aurora appearance quickly ramped up and the conditions were prime, I headed down to the shoreline about 1:30am to witness a solid 40 minute show and check this capture off my shot list.
