On May 27, 2017 a forecasted to be “weak” solar storm arrived later than expected. The northern lights, visible to the naked eye, blasted the sky with movement all night long until sunrise washed out the color. This event definitely falls into the top 5 aurora displays I've ever witnessed. Captured where the Saugeen River meets Lake Huron in Southampton, Ontario with the well-known Range Lighthouse making an appearance. Captured May 27/28, 2017. Timelapse coming soon.
