With a small slot of clear sky on the horizon over Lake Huron, after a long stretch of overcast skies, I was hopeful for a few minutes of color overhead. Instead, I witnessed the fierce wind blowing snow off of Chantry Island into the sunset, displaying colors which danced before my eyes. To the naked eye it displayed bright pinks and oranges moving west to east. This was a sunset I'll never forget. Well worth the frozen fingertips. Captured in Southampton, Ontario
